The Coeur (heart) captures for me a place we have lunched a couple of times in Eze, Nice.
The restaurant itself – Anjuna Beach – is in a little cove, where in peak seasonally number of yachts will anchor for a time in the summer. While the restaurant itself offers a water taxi service for families to take when they wish to dine, I have watched one or two swim in, sometimes resting at the pontoon on the way in.
But it’s once you’ve crossed under the road through to the tunnel of stairs that you will find my graffitied heart…I’ve always wanted to capture it in one of my pieces – forever to have it immortalised.
In R O A M it has found its home.
